I learned to crochet from my Mamaw when I was 8 years old. She showed me the chain stitch and I went crazy "chaining" yards of yarn! She was so patient with me and soon I was making potholders, afghans, etc. I've crocheted with yarn and with crochet thread. With the thread I've made several doilies.
